Welcome to Buffalo Point Partners.
Buffalo Point Partners was formed to acquire and operate a lower middle market business. We offer a flexible, entrepreneurial, and long-term oriented alternative to the typical exit options of selling to a competitor or traditional private equity. Our goal is to carry forward and build upon the legacy of the business we acquire.
We target opportunities where what we bring to bear can positively impact the outcome. We will step into a day-to-day management role and work hands on for as long as we can be productive and useful in doing so.
We seek to partner with a strong supporting management team to develop and execute on a shared vision for long-term value creation. We will ensure the availability of the capital, strategic, and operational resources necessary to pursue this goal.
investment criteria
Our overwhelming focus is on finding a high quality business to acquire and manage. Characteristics we typically look for include:
$2-10+ million of free cash flow (or EBITDA)
Recurring revenue or customers
Industry growth tailwinds
Scalable business model
Recognizable brand in the market served
High return on tangible capital
We are especially interested in opportunities where flexible, permanent capital and a long-term focus are advantaged over traditional private equity.
We would rather see an opportunity than not. If an investment is not a fit for us to lead, it might be for someone we know and work with.
